Over the weekend a group of Under 14 boys were selected to attend a development tournament in Rotorua.
With development the key focus of the weekend, the boys learnt a great deal of skills with many of them having never played with a shot clock before. From thr first game to the last, the standard of play from them dramatically improved which was pleasing for both the coaches and parents alike. Although they came away winless, the boys turn their focus to the up coming Auckland league where they can apply their newly acquired skills.

The Marist U14 boys had 4 teams this year, with all doing very well throughout the season.
The Red team dominated the season from start to finish, making it through the season undefeated and capping off the year with the U14 boys National title. The Blue boys came away from division 1 Nationals 11th, whilst the White and Black boys came 4th and 7th respectively at division 2 Nationals.
The U14 boys were an awesome bunch of kids, including some young boys who have shown some great potential to develop and build on. All the boys came away from nationals looking forward to next year. Special thank you to the coaches who have been outstanding this year and bought out the best in their teams, and thanks also to the managers, parents and supporters.
